Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Simorgh Persian Supermarket. We strive to provide our customers with high-quality Persian and Middle Eastern groceries. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Policy

Due to the nature of food products, not all items are eligible for return. We comply with applicable Swiss consumer protection laws and aim to resolve all customer concerns fairly and promptly.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned once delivered:

  • Perishable food items, including fresh herbs, dairy products,, bread, pastries, and frozen products.
  • Opened or partially consumed products.
  • Products with damaged or removed original packaging.
  • Products with a limited shelf life.
  • Personal care and hygiene products that have been opened.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged during transport;
  • Defective or spoiled upon delivery; or
  • Different from what you ordered,

please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

To process your claim, please provide:

  1. Your order number;
  2. A description of the issue; and
  3. Clear photographs of the product and packaging.

Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be eligible for a refund or replacement.

4. Refunds and Replacements

Once your claim has been reviewed and approved, we may, at our sole discretion:

  • Issue a full or partial refund;
  • Send a replacement product; or
  • Provide store credit for future purchases.

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

5. Returns of Non-Food Products

Non-food items (such as kitchenware, tea sets, or accessories) may be returned within 14 days of delivery provided that:

  • The item is unused and in its original condition;
  • It is returned in its original packaging; and
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrectly delivered.

Please do not send any products back without prior authorization from our customer service team.

7. Delivery Issues

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided is accurate.

If a package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, absence of the recipient, or failure to collect the package from the carrier, additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment. Shipping fees are non-refundable in such cases.

8. Cancellation of Orders

Orders may be cancelled free of charge before they are dispatched.

Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. Food orders that are already in transit cannot be cancelled.
